What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences (login state, security tokens, etc.) over a period of time.

Strictly Necessary (always on, no consent required)
These cookies are essential for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

Performance & Analytics (off by default)
Not currently active. If we activate analytics in the future, we will:
- Use a privacy-friendly analytics provider (e.g., Plausible, Fathom) that does not use cross-site tracking.
- Show a clear cookie consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
- Allow you to opt out at any time via a preferences center.
Marketing & Advertising
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. We do not embed third-party widgets that set advertising cookies (no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads tag, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no TikTok pixel).
Third-Party Cookies
The landing page (aselrecruitos.com) does not embed third-party widgets that set cookies.
When you use the application (app.aselrecruitos.com once launched), the following third-party services may set cookies in their own contexts only (not on our domain):
- Dropbox Sign — only when you open an eSign envelope; cookies set on dropbox.com.
- Google Maps — only when you view the Housing map; cookies set on google.com.
These cookies are subject to the respective providers' privacy policies.
How to Control Cookies
You can disable non-essential cookies via your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Note: disabling strictly necessary cookies will break the Service (you won't be able to log in).
Do Not Track
We respect the "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signal. When DNT is enabled, we will not set any non-essential cookie even if we later activate analytics.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and, where required, communicated via in-app notice or email.
